Kate has participated in many different forms of theatre from Shakespeare to experimental as a director, actress, choreographer, and writer.
She is a member of Zero Untitled Films and Productions, in both its Texas and NYC branches. Zero Untitled prides itself in branching out to many forms of theatre from traditional to experimental to improvised comedy and drama. Kate has performed as an actress in both its mainstage productions and its two improv troupes, Premature Punchline and Dramatica. (zerountitled.com/ @zerountitled)
At NYU, she is a part of the executive board for SHMUTZ, an all-University club that produces student-written work. For SHMUTZ, she has directed two plays- "Plan Z" (written by Steve Holbert) and "Through the Pearly Gates" (written by Amanda Gomez-Rivera)- and a full-length musical, "Mea Culpa" (written by RJ Christian and Cameron Reese).
In 2018, she won Best Director of a Play for The Josephine Awards for Excellence in the Arts for "Epitaph by Moonlight" written by Michael Verderber.
